White-label client - Connect GMB, FB & Yelp

Connect your FB account

Connect your Yelp account

Connect your GoogleMyBusiness account 

Click on Listings in the overhead navigation bar and select Premium Listings.

 

Click on Connect Account displayed alongside the Google Listing.

Log in with an existing account and click ‘Allow’ to authorize business verification.


 

Google identifies the existing GMB listing for the Location you have added to your Dashboard. Select the Location that Google has identified, and click “Connect this Location.”


 

Select the business listed and click on the connect this location option.

Note: if no Google Listing is found for the Location you could try with an alternative Account.

*Zipcode is a major matching factor for the search result to appear in this section.

Create a new business on Google from the Dashboard

If you do not have an existing GMB Account/Listing for the mentioned business location. You can create one through the Dashboard.

Follow the steps as mentioned earlier. When you reach the connect option, GMB will not recognize/identify any location to connect as it does not exist. From here, select the Create a new business on Google option.

Once you do so, you will receive a new MyBusiness Account ID.

Select the Account ID to proceed and click Create a new business on Google.

Once you have created a new business on Google, you will be redirected to the Dashboard. Ensure that this new business is verified before you attempt to connect your account.

Once the verification of this new business listing you created is completed, the Listing sync will be initiated. Your location data will sync within 72 hours after this.

Note: A verification process needs to be completed when you create a new Business on Google before you connect it on the dashboard.

Your business listing will not go live until the business is verified.

Connecting your Facebook Account

Before you connect your Facebook Account, ensure that you have:

  • Valid Facebook account credentials
  • An existing Facebook Location Page for the Business Location.
  • Owner permission enabled for the Facebook account you are attempting to link.

Connecting your account may fail if:

  1. You do not have admin access to the Facebook account.
  2. The Facebook Pages you are attempting to connect are not Location Pages.

Set up permissions on your Facebook Page 

Login into your Facebook account and go to Manage pages.

Select the page you need to connect and then select the About section.

Click the Edit Info option to add or edit any business-related information.

To ensure that your Page has the accurate address details added, scroll to the section and select Edit page info and verify the Address, City & Pincode to publish the map for the business page and save the changes (if any). 





Then navigate to the settings option and select the Business Integrations.


From here, select the view and edit option for ‘VerifyMyBiz Interactions’.

Provide authorization for verifyMyBiz to the location that you want to connect - to manage, list & publish pages by clicking on the relevant check-boxes by scrolling down, and click on Save.


Connect your Facebook account on the dashboard

Click on the Connect Account option displayed alongside the Facebook Listing status.

Log in with an existing Facebook account and click Done to authorize business verification to VerifyMyBiz.


Note: This authorization page may or may not appear, depending on the permissions you have granted through your FB page.

Select the connect this page option in the next step and your FaceBook page will be connected on the dashboard.

Location data from your dashboard will now begin to sync with the Facebook Page Listing associated with the Account. Your location data will sync within 24 hours.

Connecting your Yelp Account

Before you connect your Yelp Account, ensure that you have:

  • Valid account credentials to a verified Yelp account.
  • The URL of the Business as listed on Yelp. 

If you do not have an existing Yelp listing for your Location you can create one here.

Connecting your Yelp Account from your dashboard:

Click on Connect Account displayed alongside the Yelp Listing.

 

To connect your account, you will need to provide a Yelp Listing URL for the Location and fill out your Yelp Account Credentials.




Click Submit to connect your account and initiate data sync.

Location data from your dashboard will now begin to sync with the Yelp listing associated with the Account. Your location data will sync within 72 hours.

Possible Errors

Connecting your account may fail if:

  • The Yelp URL provided is incorrect. In this case, you can re-enter your claimed Yelp listing URL to proceed.
  • The Yelp Account credentials provided are incorrect. In this case, you can re-enter your credentials to proceed.
  • The Yelp Account you are trying to connect is not verified. In this case, you can use the URL displayed to log in to Yelp and verify your account.
  •  Your Yelp listing has been claimed by another. In this case, you can Request Ownership of a business listing.

Once your account has been verified, you can try connecting your account again.
