How to connect your Facebook account to the synup dashboard

Before you connect your Facebook Account, ensure that you have:

  • Valid Facebook account credentials
  • An existing Facebook Location Page for the Business Location.
  • Owner permission enabled for the Facebook account you are attempting to link.

Connecting your account may fail if:

  1. You do not have admin access to the Facebook account.
  2. The Facebook Pages you are attempting to connect to are not Location/Store Pages.

Set up permissions on your Facebook Page

Login to your Facebook Login into your Facebook account and go to Pages

Select the page you need to connect to.

Click the Edit shop now option to add or edit any business-related information.

To ensure that your Page has the accurate address details added, scroll to the section and select the Edit Page Info option from the left navigation panel.

Then verify the Address, City & Pin Code to publish the map for the business page and save the changes (if any).

Then navigate to the settings & privacy -> then click on the Settings option.

Now select the Business Integrations from the panel seen on the left.

Here, select the view and edit option for ‘VerifyMyBiz Interactions’.

Provide authorization for verifyMyBiz to the location that you want to connect - to read, edit, manage, list & publish pages by clicking on the check-boxes by scrolling down, and clicking on Save.

Connect your Facebook account from your dashboard

Log in to your dashboard and use the Navigation Picker to access a location you want to link your Facebook Account with.

Click on Listings in the overhead navigation bar and select Premium Listings. 

Click on the Connect Account displayed alongside the Facebook Listing status.

Log in with an existing Facebook account and click Done after providing authorizations by switching on the toggle buttons.  

Note: This authorization page may or may not appear, depending on the permissions you have granted through your FB page directly.

Select the connect option in the next step and your FaceBook page will be connected on the dashboard.

Location data from your dashboard will now begin to sync with the Facebook Page Listing associated with the Account. Your location data will sync within 24 hours.

Note: If no existing Facebook Page Listing was found for the Location you can go ahead and create a new listing by clicking Create a Page. Learn more about how to create a new Facebook Page.
