Frequently asked questions - I already have 100 GMB locations connected to the Synup dashboard with the email address abc@gmail.com. When I add new locations that are associated to the same GMB account (abc@gmail.com), will it connect automatically?
Answer: No, you will need to trigger a match again from the connected accounts page.
Login to your Synup account and navigate to the connected accounts page, under settings.
Once there, you will see all of the Google accounts that are connected on your Synup dashboard.
Once here, click on the 3 dots(hamburger sign) next to the account that you wish to initiate new location matches, and select the option to request new matches.
Once this is done, navigate to the Connection suggestions page and the dashboard automatically identifies the list of locations that you attempted to connect. The dashboard prompts you with suggestions of the possible matches for your locations. It could take 5-10 minutes for all of the suggestions to pop-up, depending on the number of locations in your account and in GMB/FB. So, keep refreshing until your suggestions appear.
If the suggestion provided by the dashboard is accurate, click on confirm to successfully connect the location.
Else you can use the Assign another listing option to manually select a listing from any Connected Facebook or Google Account to connect to the location. Read this article to learn how to manually assign listings.
Note: Synup does not run an auto-sync/auto connect for any new locations added, after a GMB/FB account is connected on the dashboard. You will need to trigger a manual match for new locations to appear from location connections.
Note: Running a manual match from the connected accounts tab will work only when a new location is added in Synup as well as GMB/FB. This will fetch all the locations in GMB/FB and will try to find matches amongst the approved and disconnected locations in Synup.
