How to sync your email and calendar to OS
Connecting your email and calendar to Synup OS allows you to manage client communication and schedule tasks or meetings directly within the platform. Once synced, you’ll be able to send and receive emails, log interactions, and view calendar events without switching tools.

Supported Providers

Google Workspace / Gmail (email and Google Calendar)
Microsoft Outlook / Office 365 (email and Outlook Calendar)Other Providers (AOL, Zoho, Yahoo, or others)
How to Sync Your Email and Calendar
Step 1: Go to Email & Calendar Settings
From your Synup OS dashboard, click on your Settings icon in the top-right corner.
In the left-hand menu, click Connected Apps.
You will see the option to connect an email account.
Step 2: Choose Your Provider
Click Connect My Email Account.
Select Google or Microsoft or other depending on your account type.
Step 3: Authorize Access
You will be redirected to your provider’s sign-in page.
Log in using your email credentials.
Review the permissions Synup OS requires (email access, calendar read/write) and click Allow. Once done, you will see an Active status next to the email address.
Step 4: Configure Your Sync Preferences
After connecting, you can:
Enable mailbox permissionc so incoming and outgoing messages appear in Synup OS.
Configure email signature that will be used whenever you send an email to clients from OS mailbox.
Step 5: Save and Test
Once you configure your email account, it will get saved automatically. Next, you’d want to quickly go to the OS home page > Activities tab. You can check whether your calendar activities are showing up (You will only see all the new activities that were created after you synced your calendar with OS). You can also create an activity & add it to your calendar automatically. Here’s how to do it.
Next, you’d also want to check your mailbox and send a test email to verify the integration. Here’s how to do it. All your new emails that you receive after the sync happens will start showing up in your OS mailbox.
Managing and Disconnecting Your Sync
At any time, you can do the following from the same settings section in Connected Apps:
Delete the email account, and it will disconnect your calendar and mailbox.
