In addition to the existing Review Sites that we currently support, you can add additional review sources to your current review management workflow on the Synup dashboard.
Note: Before you can start viewing and managing reviews fro these additional sites, you will first need to get your business listed and verified on these sites(wherever necessary).
Let's get started.
To add review sources, navigate to the review option->All reviews -> then click the more options button (indicated by three vertical dots/hamburger) and select View Review Source.
You will be redirected to the review sources page, where you can add the site URLs for your location.
Notice that the edit URL box for both Google & Facebook is greyed-out, which means that you cannot edit these two site URLs as you have already connected them from the connected accounts page. If these two boxes do not already have a link in them, it means that you have not connected your GMB & Facebook accounts. You cannot connect any of the sites that you connected from the connected accounts page from the review sources page. Read these articles to learn how to connect your Google & Facebook listings from the connected accounts page.
Sample/expected URL formats have been provided for all the sites listed here. You can clear the suggested base URL under each site and enter the complete URL manually (be sure to use the example format shared for each site.) Follow the instructions to add your review sites accurately.
Once you start typing in the URL, the editable box provided will turn blue, and the option to even clear your input is available.
Add the review URLs for as many sites available in your plan and hit the Save button at the bottom of the page to save the URLs you just added.
You will be asked for a confirmation for the modification made through a pop-up message at this point. If you are sure about the modifications, click yes, modify. If you do not wish to proceed with the changes, click cancel.
If you choose to proceed with the modification, you will see a confirmation message that the review sources' sites have been successfully added at the top of the screen.
Note: The connect process is slightly different to add the review site URL for Trustpilot. Read this article to understand how to add a review URL for Trustpilot.
You can also search for specific sites with the help of the search option displayed on top of the review sources page.
Any site connected through the connected accounts option, the review site URLs for those sites will not be editable from the review sources page(Google, Facebook, Trustpilot & Yelp- if you have a Yelp partnership with us).
Note: You can perform this action only for a single location and not for location tags/multiple locations.
