Synup addresses this challenge by enabling businesses to automate their review acquisition process through our Mail Parse feature.

With Mail Parse integration, businesses can effortlessly forward customer-related emails from their payment gateways, apps, or legacy CRMs directly to Synup. Upon receiving these emails, the business is required to identify and map customer details such as name, email address, and phone number within the content of the forwarded email. This step helps Synup to interpret the unique pattern in which customer information is presented in similar emails. Using this intelligence, Synup automatically extracts customer details and adds them into a review acquisition campaign each time a similar email is received, thereby streamlining the review acquisition process.

How to connect to Mail parse?
  1. Navigate to the Reviews tab in the top navigation bar, then select Generate Reviews and click Connect Mailparse.

  2. Select the location you want to enable Mailparse for and give the connection a name to help you stay organized.

  3. Set up mail forwarding from your inbox to the email address provided on the screen.

  4. Once the email is received, the system will extract the name, email address, and phone number from its content. This serves as a guide for the parser to identify and capture relevant data from forwarded emails.

  5. If email forwarding fails, an error message will appear. Try forwarding the email again and click the refresh button once done.

  6. Click Next to choose your email provider. You’ll also find step-by-step instructions on how to set up auto-forwarding for that provider.

  7. Once confirmed, you can begin using Mailparse to acquire reviews automatically.

  8. Click on Review Acquisition and follow the steps to create your review campaign. Learn how to create a review campaign here.

  9. In Step 3 of the setup, once Mailparse is connected, you'll see an option to select data from CRM / App / Mailparse.

  10. All contacts imported via Mailparse will be visible in this step.
