How to monitor the performance of an email sequence
Once you’ve created and launched an email sequence, it’s important to track how it is performing. Monitoring performance helps you understand engagement, optimize your messaging, and improve conversion rates.
Follow the steps below to monitor the performance of your email sequences in Synup:
1. Navigate to the Sequences Section
From the left-hand menu, click on Sequences.
Select Email Sequence.
You’ll see a list of all created sequences.
Example: New Test Sequence
2. Open the Sequence You Want to Monitor
Click on the name of the sequence (e.g., New Test Sequence).
This will take you to the Sequence Dashboard.
3. Review the Steps & Performance Tab
On the top panel, you’ll find performance metrics such as:
Total Enrolled – Number of leads enrolled in the sequence.
Open Rate – Percentage of leads who opened at least one email from this sequence.
Reply Rate – Percentage of leads who replied to at least one email from this sequence.
No Response – Leads whose enrollment in the sequence ended with no response.
Click on any metric to see which leads have performed that action (opened, replied, etc).
This gives you an overview of how your emails are engaging your audience.
5. Take Action Based on Insights
Low Open Rate? → Try testing different subject lines. Also, ensure emails are not spammy, or this may impact deliverability.
Low Reply Rate? → Adjust your call-to-action or make emails more personalized.
High No Response? → Shorten your sequence or add more value-driven messaging.
✅ By regularly monitoring these metrics, you can fine-tune your sequences to get better engagement and results.
