How to format Data Attributes

The information you fill out for each location on your dashboard lets your customers discover everything your business has to offer - from the type of cuisine you serve as a restaurant, special open hours of your location, and more.

With relevant attributes, you can set up listings that match relevant searches and help you stand out to your customers.

The New Location Wizard supports various attributes:

Location Data Fields

All fields marked mandatory (*) on the UI are required for saving your location data to your dashboard.    

Data Field

Description

Store Code

This is a unique ID to help identify your location. Although this field is optional, we strongly recommend adding a store code for your location.

Store ID field supports: 

  • Numbers
  • Alphabets
  • Special character ( - )

Eg: 123ABC or 123-N

Location Name*

The name of your business location as used consistently across branding. This text field should have between 2 to 150 characters.
Eg: Acme Inc.

Mandatory Field

Business Category*

Use the drop-down picker to select a primary business category. Learn More about Business Categories here
Eg: Asian Restaurants

Mandatory Field

Additional Categories

Enter additional categories for the business engaged in. You can choose from the suggestions for platform-supported categories. Learn More about Categories here.  

Eg: Car Auctions, Car Brokers, Car Buyers, and Car Share Services. 

Address*

This address line of the location should contain the locality or street name. The characters in this field can between 5 to 100.
Eg: 123 Main St.

Mandatory Field

Address 2

This is the second address line of the location that should contain the building/floor/suite/ number. The characters in this field can between 5 to 100. 
Eg: Suite 51A

 City*

Fill in a valid city/locality for the location. This field should have characters between 5 to 30.
Eg: New York

Mandatory Field

 Country*

Fill in the 2 letter country code for the country in which the location is present.
Eg: US

Mandatory Field

 State*

Use the abbreviation of the state in the state column. Eg: FL for Florida.

Mandatory Field

Zipcode*

Fill in a valid Zip Code for the location. Ensure that the Postal/Zip Code you enter here corresponds to the country entered.
Eg: 1001

Mandatory Field

Local Phone Number
Fill in a valid phone number for the location excluding the country code. The number you enter here should not exceed 10 digits.
Eg: 1234567890 or 800123456

Toll-free Number
You can choose to add a toll-free number instead of a local phone number. Toll-Free numbers are currently supported for business locations in India and UAE. The number you enter here should not exceed 7 digits. Learn more about toll-free numbers

Mandatory Field

Website

Fill in the business website URL. This link should begin with either - HTTP:// or HTTPS://.
Eg: https://www.acme.com

Check this box if your business location is a franchise of a brand.
 Do not publish my address Check this box for Service Area Business without a storefront. If checked, the address will be hidden from all Listings displayed to users.

 Business Owner Name Fill in the name of the owner or person in charge of the location.
Eg: John Doe

Owner Email Fill in the email ID of the owner or person in charge of the location.
Eg: johndoe@acme.com

Business Tagline Fill in the brand tagline for the business.
Eg: Connect Smarter

Year of Incorporation Fill in the valid year the company was incorporated in.
Eg: 1997

About The Business* Fill in the business description. The minimum character requirement is 200 characters.

Take in award-winning views of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge while enjoying complimentary sourdough bread baked in-house every hour, and dining on the freshest sustainable seafood and meats available. Bayside Kitchen is proud to be the first restaurant in Fisherman’s Wharf to serve 100% sustainable seafood.

Mandatory Field

Business operating hours for the Location.

Click the 'Select Hours'  drop-down picker to select from:  

  • Open
  • Split
  • Open 24x7

Check the ‘Apply to all ' box to set the same time for all days.

Note: If you choose not to enter your operation hours, this field will be submitted to Publishing Partner Networks as 'Not provided' by default. Learn more about Operating Hours here.

Accepted payment options that are available at the Location.

You can select from:

Facebook Profile Fill in the Facebook Business Page URL. This link should begin with either - HTTP:// or HTTPS://

Linkedin Profile

Fill in the LinkedIn Business Page URL. This link should begin with either - HTTP:// or HTTPS://
Eg: https://www.linkedin.com/acme

Twitter Profile

Fill in the Twitter Business Handle URL. This link should begin with either - HTTP:// or HTTPS://
Eg: https://twitter.com/acme

Logo
  1. Aspect ratio is not mandatory
  2. Min Dimension 250x250 and Max is 5000x5000
  3. Image size should not be less than 5 MB and greater than 10 KB
 Cover Photo & Additional Images/starred images

 Cover Photo

  1. The image should have a 16x9 (1.778) aspect ratio.
  2. Image dimensions should not be less than 480x270 and should not be greater than 2120x1192
  3. Image size should not be less than 5 MB and greater than 10 KB

 ADDITIONAL/Starred Images

  1. Aspect ratio is not mandatory
  2. Min Dimension 250x250 and Max is 5000x5000
  3. Image size should not be less than 5 MB and greater than 10 KB
