Understanding Automation Action triggers
Setup Automation actions have 3 types of triggers

Send an email - send email alerts that fit the criteria mentioned in the trigger part(Step 1) to selected recipients.

Respond to review - auto responds to new reviews

Send digest email - sends out one consolidated mail with all the new reviews that fit the criteria mentioned in the trigger (Step 1)
Send email trigger
Send email alerts that fit the criteria mentioned in the trigger part(Step 1 when creating the event-based automation) to selected recipients.

Add the email addresses of the recipients to whom you want to send out this customized review report. To add multiple recipients, use a comma to separate email addresses.

Add a subject - You can always use our predefined wildcards to select them by clicking on the ((.)) icon to personalize/customize the email subject.

Add the body of the text. Again, You can use our predefined wildcards to select them by clicking on the ((.)) icon to provide accurate data in the email body.

Click Next step, once you have added the above information to review & publish your automation.
Respond to review trigger
This action type triggers auto-responses to new reviews.
- Select the Respond to review option from the drop-down
- The box that appears below will show the previously created review templates.
- Select from the existing templates.
- Or type in the customized response you want based on the triggers you have set up in step 1.
- The selected/added review response is added to the auto-responder.

Now click Next step to review & publish your event-based automation.
*This automation is actionable only for current and onward review responses from the automation start date. Not for older reviews that have not been responded to before creating this automation.
**To randomize responses for every review you have included in an automation, add additional review responses to the event automation. The automation will randomly select and post the responses.
Send digest email trigger
Sends out one consolidated mail with all the new reviews that fit the criteria mentioned in the trigger (Step 1 when creating the automation).
- Select the Send digest mail option to trigger a consolidated reminder alert for the criteria mentioned in the trigger (Step 1).

Then select the frequency for the alert email - Daily, Weekly, Monthly.

Now click Next step to review & publish your event-based automation.
*If 31st is selected for a monthly schedule, then the alert will not run for months that don't have 31st.
** Attaches a CSV of reviews in the mail
