Media Guidelines

The photos you upload will appear better if they meet the recommended standards of quality. Here are some guidelines you’ll want to keep in mind when choosing to add media to your locations. 

Photo Types:

Note:

  • A location can have only one LOGO and one COVER type photo at any time.

  • You can upload multiple photos of the ADDITIONAL type.

Image Requirements by Platform:

Google

Logo

  • Aspect ratio: 1:1

  • Max file size: 5MB

  • Image must load within 6 seconds

Cover Photo

  • Minimum size: 250 × 250 pixels

Photo Gallery

  • Must include all photos, not just updates

  • Array should maintain order

  • Max photos per request

  • Supported aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 5:3, 16:9, 3:1, 2:3, 5:7, 4:5, 4:1

  • Max file size: 5MB

Facebook

Profile Photo

  • Minimum size: 180 × 180 pixels

  • Max dimensions: 30,000 × 30,000 pixels

  • Max area: 41,000,000 pixels (width × height)

  • Supported aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 5:3, 16:9, 3:1, 2:3, 5:7, 4:5, 4:1

  • Max file size: 5MB

Cover Photo

  • Displayed size: 851 × 315 pixels

  • Minimum size: 400 × 150 pixels

  • Max dimensions: 30,000 × 30,000 pixels

  • Max area: 41,000,000 pixels (width × height)

  • Supported aspect ratios: same as above

  • Max file size: 5MB

  • Image must load within 6 seconds

Apple

Cover Photo

  • Minimum size: 1600 × 1040 pixels

  • Maximum size: 4864 × 3163 pixels

  • Supported aspect ratio: 154:100

  • Max file size: 5MB
