How to send follow-up review acquisition emails

Once you’ve set up your Review Acquisition, you can choose to re-engage with customers in case they’ve missed your earlier requests via emails & SMSs. You can send out two follow-up reminders at scheduled intervals to try and increase your review acquisition completion/open rate.

As part of your Acquisition settings you can manage:

  • Scheduling when a follow-up email is sent
  • Customizing the content for follow-up emails

From the Review Acquisition page, navigate to Create Acquisition ->give your campaign a name and add the location for which you wanted to create the review acquisitions, then -> click the gear icon.

Setting up your First Follow up Email

Click the drop-down and select the number of days you want to wait before sending out a reminder review acquisition email. For example, if you select 2 days, the first follow-up email will be sent out two days after the initial review acquisition email was set out.

To disable this follow-up email choose ‘never’ from the drop-down options.

You can customize your reminder email content if necessary. You can edit the email subject, heading, and content.

Setting up your Second Follow up Email

Click the drop-down and select the number of days you want to wait before sending out a second reminder for the review acquisition. For example, if you select 5 days, the second follow-up email will be sent out two days after the first follow-up review acquisition email was set out.

Setting up your 'Thank You' Email

Note: Thank you emails can be scheduled only if you have pre-screened your review acquisitions.

You can choose to send out thank you emails after a customer successfully reviews your business online.

Here too, you can customize your reminder email content if necessary. You can edit the email subject, heading, and content.

Click Save Settings displayed at the top right corner of the page to save your changes.

Note: Any changes you make in the follow-up settings for particular review acquisition, will reflect at the location level and the changes will be saved for other scheduled or new future review acquisitions you launch as well.
