How to format a CSV file for Multi Location Upload

Data Fields

The CSV file you create should contain all the supported data attributes arranged in a row at the top of your spreadsheet. You can use the provided template and fill your location information into the relevant fields in the spreadsheet.

Types of fields:

  • Required Fields - All Required Fields are mandatory. Missing out any of these fields will result in upload errors.
  • Optional Fields - All Required Fields are discretionary. Your CSV upload will still be processed without these fields.

Format Reference For Data Fields

The following table describes each data field with an example and specifies the type as required or optional.

Type

Name

The name of your business location is used consistently across branding. This text field should have between 2 to 150 characters.

Required

Address

The address of the location should be between 5 to 100 characters. Eg: 123 Main St.

Required

City

Fill in a valid city/locality for the location. This field should have characters between 5 to 30. Eg: New York.

Required

State

Use the abbreviation of the state in the state column. Eg: FL for Florida.

Required

Postal Code/ Zip Code

Fill in a valid Postal Code/Zip Code for the location corresponding to the country. Eg: 1001

Required

Country

Fill in the 2 letter county code for the country in which the location is present. Eg: US

Phone

Fill in a valid phone number for the location excluding the country code. This field should not exceed 10 digits.

Eg: 1234567890 or 800123456

Business Categories

Fill in the valid primary business category for the business engaged in.

Refer to categorylist.xlsx for Platform supported categories. Eg: Asian Restaurants

Description

Fill in the business description. This field can have a minimum of 200 characters.

Eg: Bayside Kitchen is your local restaurant offering the quintessential San Francisco waterfront dining experience.

Take in award-winning views of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge while enjoying complimentary sourdough bread baked in-house every hour, and dining on the freshest sustainable seafood and meats available. Required

Store ID

A unique ID to help identify the location. This field is optional but strongly recommended.  

Store ID field supports:

  • Numbers
  • Alphabets
  • Special character ( - )

Eg: 123ABC or 123-N

Optional,  but recommended.

Address 2

The address of the location should be between 5 to 100 characters.  Eg: Suite 51A

Additional Categories

Fill in additional categories for the business engaged in. Refer to categorylist.xlsx for Platform supported categories. Eg: Car Auctions, Car Brokers, Car Buyers, Car Share Services.

Hours_Monday

Business operating hours on Monday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Valid values include: closed / holiday / 24h / hh:mm-hh:mm/ hh:mm-hh:mm, hh:mm-hh:mm (Split Hours).

Eg: 10:00-21:00

Hours_Tuesday

Business operating hours on Tuesday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Valid values include: closed / holiday / 24h / hh:mm-hh:mm/ hh:mm-hh:mm, hh:mm-hh:mm (Split Hours).

Hours_Wednesday

Business operating hours on Wednesday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Valid values include: closed / holiday / 24h / hh:mm-hh:mm/ hh:mm-hh:mm, hh:mm-hh:mm (Split Hours).

Business operating hours on Thursday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Business operating hours on Friday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Business operating hours on Saturday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Business operating hours on Sunday. This field should have characters between 7-11.

Service Area Business

Choose to hide the address for service area businesses without a storefront. The default value for this field is 'No' (indicates that it is not a Service area business).

Valid values: 'Yes' or 'No'.

Business_URL

Fill in the business website URL. This link should begin with either - HTTP:// or HTTPS://.

Business Tagline

Fill in the brand tagline for the business.

Eg: Connect Smarter

Owner Name

Fill in the name of the owner or person in charge of the location. This field has no character limitations.

Eg: John Doe

Fill in the email ID of the owner or person in charge of the location.

Eg: johndoe@acme.com

Payment Options

Accepted payment options that are available at the Location.

Valid inputs: 'Visa', 'Master Card', 'American Express', 'Cheque', 'Crypto'.

Year of Incorporation

Fill in the valid year the company was incorporated in.

Eg: 1997

Logo > URL

Add a PNG or JPG image of the business logo by filling in a valid URL of the image which can be accessed publicly.

Add a PNG or JPG image of the location by filling in a valid URL of the image which can be accessed publicly.
