Here are some features that were temporarily limited, but have now been reinstated.
Bing: Data Analytics Restrictions
Previously reported issue for Bing: Bing is experiencing data analytics constraints and is unable to provide analytics updates. We are actively working with their team to resolve this issue and will continue to monitor and post updates as we receive. Thank you for your patience as we work with Bing to restore the data.
Update: We have received an update from Bing. The analytics issue has been resolved and all of the analytics data has been backfilled.
Here are some features that will be temporarily limited:
Business Listing: Sync, Claims, and Verifications
While our platform continues to help you source out accurate and trustworthy business information, now more than ever, any newly created listings added on your dashboard may have a delay in syncing across Partner Networks.
This is with respect to certain Partner Networks prioritizing services to critical businesses like healthcare-related units, and utility units like grocery stores.
Note: The Google My Business verification process and listings may take longer if you’re not healthcare or essential business. Learn more about GMB changes.
Business Information Updates
Any updates and changes you make to your business location information will also have an expected delay in syncing across Partner Networks, due to prioritization of certain business categories like healthcare-related, over other categories.
Reviews and Q&A
Review replies, user reviews, user photos, and Q&A are now available for the regions supported by Synup.
Reviews for all your connected locations will now be available in realtime on the dashboard. You can now view and respond to your reviews through the Synup dashboard.
In addition to the above, the below features are still unavailable via Google:
- Reviews, photos, and Q&A for businesses in a narrow set of medical categories, such as hospitals and doctors’ offices
- Video uploads
- Q&A via API
- The ability to claim new short names
Learn about best practices for affected businesses, and what you can do to keep your customers informed.
Important: Posts that include a phone number may be rejected.
Use the new COVID-19 post type to share more detailed and timely updates about what’s going on at your business. You can add information about:
- Closures or reduced hours
- Safety and hygiene practices
- Availability of gift cards to support your business
- Online classes and visits
- COVID-19 update posts appear prominently on your profile and are more noticeable to your customers.
For restaurants: If a business is marked “Temporarily closed,” attributes for both dining and retail establishments won’t surface on Google Search and Maps. If your business still operates through takeout or delivery, you should not mark it as "Temporarily closed."
