About Custom Attributes
The business location attributes you fill in when creating a location on Synup let your customers know all that your business has to offer. This includes information such as operating hours, payment methods supported, menus, photos, and more.
In addition to the default attributes, you can also create your own custom attributes to source out business information that is most relevant to your business vertical.
You can create custom attributes to be accessible at three levels:
- All Locations: Attributes created at an account level will be visible for all locations within the account. For example, creating an accessibility attribute to indicate whether your locations are accessible for people in wheelchairs. Learn how to create Account Level Attributes.
- Category Specific: Attributes created at a category level will be visible for all locations attributed to the business category. For example, creating a custom attribute for ‘Restaurants’ as a category to indicate the locations support to take out/ delivery. Learn how to create Category Level Attributes.
- Location Specific: Attributes created at a location level will be visible to that specific location. For example, creating a custom attribute for a location to indicate that this location has a roof-top seating. Learn how to create Location Level Attributes.
