What is an SMS credit?
To send out SMS review campaigns, you must have SMS credits in your account.
Every month 50 SMS credits are added to your account for every active location on your dashboard/minimum commit as per your contract (whichever is higher).
If your monthly usage is above this, you must purchase SMS credits as an add-on to send out your SMS Review Campaigns.
Note: The purchased SMS credits are added at an account level and not at the location level.
How is this billed?
The SMS Credits you purchase will be added as additional charges to your current account subscription. The charges are added to the next invoice.
You can access the details of every invoice from your billing section.
How many credits would it take to send out an SMS?
The SMS Credits you would require to send out each SMS campaign message vary for each region. You can review the charges for all active geographies supported by Synup in this article.
Purchasing SMS Credits:
To buy SMS credits from your dashboard, navigate to the account setting tab in the overhead navigation bar ->Billing ->Credits
Click Buy Credits and use the drop-down tab to select the number of credits you want to purchase.
Once you select the number of SMS credits you want to purchase, Click Buy to make your purchase. This page will also show you the price for the number of credits you have purchased.
